Building on this environment, predefined standard test suites are available for ETSI, ITU-T, national and proprietary operational validation.  A8619 test suites are subjected to a quality assurance process, which results in a defined validation status.  During this process the test suites are executed under controlled conditions against live test objects and reference models.

Test suites are documented with operating instructions, flow diagrams and validation reports.  An overview status of each test suite is maintained on the Internet for reference by A8619 users.

Test reports summarize results for ease of understanding and rapid post-analysis.

The system is based on the ISO reference architecture and directly supports the international standards SDL, TTCN and ASN.1.

During simulation the protocol analyzer captures all PDUs sent and received.

The animator allows a fully synchronized slow motion replay/single step at the protocol level.
