The A8619 uses special purpose, high performance Active Interface Modules (AIMs) developed and manufactured for protocol test requirements and manufactured according to ISO 9001. Each interface has a dedicated processor sub-system.
All G.703 (ISDN PRI and SS7) interfaces are supported and now also supports ISA or PCI!. Additional interfaces are available for ISDN BRI, datacom applications, ATM and Ethernet.
A8619 systems are shipped pre-configured with the required interfaces, applications software, protocols, firmware and test suites. Systems can be upgraded later with additional interfaces, application modules and test suites.
